PokéSurvivor Permanent upgrades

Separate partner investment from run cards and plan your next PokéCoin purchase.

Invest in the partner you will actually use

Permanent upgrades are purchased with PokéCoins for an individual Pokémon. They apply to later runs with that partner. Spreading coins across many partners can make comparisons misleading: one may simply have a larger upgrade budget.

Choose a purchase you can evaluate

If you repeatedly lose before your build starts working, compare a survivability purchase with another damage level. If the opening attack is the problem, investigate starting-move control. Repertoire adds a second starting move; choosing that second attack needs its own unlock. Check the live menu for the current price before committing coins.
