The initial personality quiz suggests a starter; you can choose another. Use the roster below to open a partner reference, then check its starting attack and type matchups. A starter’s familiarity can matter more to a first attempt than its position on a tier list.

Compare with the same investment

Try a ranged opening and a close-range opening under a similar upgrade budget. Record whether your main difficulty is movement, clearing enemies or choosing cards. That observation makes the next partner choice more useful than picking solely by rarity. The roster uses the archived official starter flags; follow the live selection screen if it changes.
